most common credit narrator Van Nispen was a member of the Van Nispen family and a son of Mr. Eugène Octave Marie van Nispen to Sevenaer (1895-1957), director of the National Heritage Service and Marie Johanna baroness of Voorst to Voorst (1907-2009), member from the Van Voorst to Voorst family. Van Nispen studied law in Leiden and did his military service at the cavalry. In 1967 he married jkvr Claire Ooster Teixeira de Mattos (1940), a member of the Teixeira de Mattos family, from which two daughters and one son were born. From his marriage year he was executive secretary at Staatsbosbeheer, where he later became head of Public Law Affairs. He exchanged that last position in 1981 for the clerkship of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands in The Hague, with which he became the head of the civil service organization. He held this position for more than twenty years until his retirement, which made him the second longest-serving clerk. He was succeeded by Eveline Hartogs. Van Nispen held various other positions, including vice-chairman of the board of Stichting Kasteel Heeze and (vice) chairman of the board of the Education for the Less Valid Child Foundation. From 2004 Van Nispen provided the introductions of various educational audio books.
