Carnival marsupial is a new look to the danceable Carnival del Liceu in the mid-nineteenth century. The Carnival was a great showcase for a repertory to the latest fashion created for the occasion. Galops and carriages, redowes and revendes, rigodons and hats of glass, waltzes and masks, polques and music players ladies, schottisch and whiskers, and american spiders of crystal, institution, and cups of soup...this bustle was the ideal stage for expressing the picaresque, the contradictions and dualities and the anarchy typical of this festivity.
