John Montague

John Montague (born 28 February 1929, Brooklyn, New York, USA − died 10 December 2016, Nice, France) was an American-born Irish poet. His Irish parents were living in the United States when he was born and shipped him to Ireland in 1933 where he was raised by two of his aunts.
