The NY-LA Dream Band

Concert band project for a live release from 1982. Dave Grusin directed the group of session musicians from New York and Los Angeles, including Japanese trumpeter Tiger Okoshi and accompanied by brass and symphonic ensembles from Japan. The formation is credited with different name variations on various front covers. Live footage of some tracks and a guest performance by singer Michael Franks was filmed for the concert registration of this group as well, but these do not appear on any release.
