Об исполнителе:
South African artist kwaito musician, producer, and performer. Born on 10th July 1962 in Soweto in Gauteng, South Africa, he grew up during the Apartheid as the child of an already famous Olympic equestrian Enos Mafokate. In the late 1980s, he would perform as a dancer at shows and would make himself a name in dance competitions. During the post-apartheid underground house music scene, he experimented with its music as he wants to pursue a music career. He would land a record deal at the CCP record company and soon release "Windy Windy" in 1994, with its successful hit "Amagents Ayaphanda". A year later, he would soon drop his controversial widely known song "Kaffir", which upbrings a political message about its judicious nature. From the perspective of his upbringing in the genre, he is often credited as the "King Of Kwaito" and pioneered his designated sound in the genre. The trademarked footprint of his work let too many artists compete within the genre, as record sales were staggering nationwide. He founded his own label 999 Music, as a subsidiary label of CCP Records and would produce for his signed artists such as Aba Shante, Zombo, New School, Makhendlas and so on. In retrospect, he released a total of 20 solo projects as he holds production credits for many of his uplifted artists. He won several South African music awards and is considered to be one of South Africa's most influential musicians.
