German jazz guitarists born in 1960. At age 22 he started his studies in jazz and classical guitar with Harry Pepl and Harald Riebitsch at the conservatory in Graz, Austria. In 1986 he moved to the Netherlands to finish his studies with Wim Overgaauw at the Hilversum Conservatory. He received his degree in 1988.
