Marco Marzuoli (b. 1982) is a Città Sant’Angelo (Pescara, Italy) based indipendent curator and artist. He permanently works as curator for the platform Lux (2014 – present), collaborate with Museolaboratorio (2007 – present), and works in turistic and cultural management. Marzuoli studied at the “Academy of Fine Arts of Perugia (Italy)”, obtaining a master’s degree in sculpture (2007) with a thesis titled “Communities of Arts in Digital Era”. Subsequently continued his studies in cultural management by getting a master in “Economics and Management of Culture and Arts” (University of Chieti-Pescara, 2008) and in digital area obtaining several certificates. As art curator, Marzuoli, worked for solo exhibitions of important international artists such Arnold Dreyblatt, William Basinski & James Elaine and Thomas Köner; collaborate with Richard Chartier, Christina Vantzou, Yann Novak, France Jobin, Lino Capra Vaccina, Giancarlo Schiaffini and many others. His curatorships and collaborations have been part of events and festivals such as MaerzMusik, The Long Now – Kraftwerk, Berlin (DE) and Supermarket Art Fair 2014 – Kulturhuset, Stockholm (SW) and more. In 2017 he won a grant, and has been selected, as curator in residence by MNAC National Museum of Contemporary Arts – Bucharest (RO). As artist Marco partecipated at Mediterranea 18 Young Artists Biennale (AL, 2017) and others exhibitions. He released experimental music works for international record labels such Low Point (UK), Dragon’s Eye Recordings (US) and Éter Editions (CO). He runs SCHELETRO, an archive of unreleased music experiments.
