Julión Álvarez Y Su Norteño Banda

Regional Mexican band from the state of Sinaloa. Associated with the Universal Latino subsidiary label Machete Music, they experienced commercial success with their debut full-length release on the label, Corazón Mágico (2007). The album features the regional Mexican hit "Las Mulas De Moreno." In the wake of this success, a pair of live albums was released: Desde Mazatlán: A Mover El Culito (2008) was released by Machete Music while Cumbia Del Río (2008), an odd album comprised of live recordings plus three versions of the title track, was released by Disa.
