Peter Kraska

Swiss dadaist artist, died September 5, 2016, aged 70. Declaring himself a king over the "Zentrische und A-Zentrische Reich" in Zürich (Switzerland) and Bilbao (Spain), he 'reigned' until his 'resignation' in 2015. He got famous for never paying tickets for Zürich public transportation, eventually went to prison for 20 days. In the sixties, Kraska worked together with Swiss artist Dieter Meier ("Yello") in a performance art happening called "underground explosions" which produced a scandal at the time. Living part time in Spain, he was a great enthusiast for Spanish bullfighting.
