Об исполнителе:
Alwi Oslan (17 August 1939 Batavia, Dutch East Indies – 2 July 1983, Jakarta) was an Indonesian film actor, singer and comedian from the 1960s to the 1980s . His parents were traders from South Yemen who had lived in Batavia since the Dutch era. When he was a child, Alwi learned to play plays and read poetry at RRI Jakarta, during the Panggung Joyful event under Pak Kasur's care. His real name is Alwi Alhabsy, but since the death of Oslan Husein a famous entertainment singer of the sixties, he has used the last name Oslan a tribute to his best friend. He once formed a duet with the singer, both on stage and in the film "Bintang Peladjar" (1957), Alwi's first film. Since then he has appeared in most of the films made by SARINANDE, including "Iseng" (1959) and "Madju Tak Gentar" (65). In Indonesian films in the seventies the name Alwi is rarely found. He was apparently active as a trader and entrepreneur. But from time to time, he played in films, among others, in "Pinangan" (1976), "Kembang Kembang Plastik" (1977), etc. His artistic talent grew because he interacted with many artists and filmmakers from Minangkabau who took part in the early days of independence such as Usmar Ismail , Djamaluddin Malik , Asrul Sani , Soekarno M. Noer , Menzano , Oslan Husein, etc.
