Plutão Já Foi Planeta is a brazilian band of Indie Pop / Rock Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, and appeared in September 2013. The group is currently formed by Natália Noronha, Gustavo Arruda, Sapulha Campos, Raphael Andrade and Vitória de Santi and their influences move between Os Mutantes, Los Hermanos, John Frusciante and Little Joy and groups of British Indie Pop current as Bombay Bicycle Club and Little Comets. The band enters diverse instrumentation in his compositions through the use of the ukulele, melodica and synthesizer, in addition to baseband with guitars, bass and drums. The members also play with different styles, moving between indie folk and folk rock, always driven by the voices of Sapulha, Natalia and Gustavo, both individually and together. The group began when members of Beto Rockfeller, rock cover band composed by Gustavo, and Rafael Bezerra Sapulha first bassist and keyboardist of Pluto, interested in starting an authorial project. The musicians, in an attempt to add the band a differential, sought a vocalist and, by indication, met Natalia, who was already writing and composing original songs that promoted on the internet. Since then, the musicians write and create arrangements together in spontaneous mixtures of their different references. In August 2014, Rafael Bezerra needed to leave the band to carry out cultural exchanges in Germany. By the absence of the component, the group saw the need to replace Rafael by a new member. Also by way of indication, the components found win Santi safely assumed that the function of the former member, making the change of formation less painful and time consuming. In May of the same year, even with the previous formation, the band recorded their debut album, which has seven own tracks, including "From Here To" single released in March and titled album. On October 16, the album was released virtually for free download on the band 's page on Bandcamp and Facebook. The album was recorded at Studio Dosol and received Henrique collaborations Refrigerator, Anderson Foca and Yves Fernandes. On November 19, 2014, the band was devoted to Musical RN Revelation by Hangar Music Award. In the same month, between 21 and 23, the group made ​​its first tour, which took the title of Baby Tour, included in the project Potiguar Invasion. The design intent was to occupy cultural spaces in other cities in an attempt to spread the Potiguar music. João Pessoa (PB) and Recife (PE) were invaded cities, in addition to Christmas, which ended the project with a loyal audience on Sunday (23).
