Martin Sköld

Swedish musician, born October 2, 1970 in Sparreholm. Sköld played bass in the Swedish band Kent, where he was one of the original members. In 2013 he released a solo EP under his own name, "The Fire Is On Me" with four songs. He also has the side projects Beijing Laundry together with Martin "Nåid" Landquist and Closure together with Ninsun Poli and Johan Wohlert from Danish Mew. Martin Sköld and Dejan Belgrenius formed Kapitalet in 2019, which released the first single "En Förlorad Värld" on 28 February 2020 on Progress Productions. Markus Mustonen, Carolina Wallin Pérez and Anders Rooster Roos are guests on the album, which is recorded and mixed by Stefan Boman in Psykbunkern. The band is currently working on upcoming songs. Together with the other former Kent members, Sköld forms the board of Parkbänken AB, a company that, among other things, runs the group's studio.
