Clip was an entity that came to be in early 1999 from Springfield, MA. Created out of pure disgust and frustration for the state of metal/rock music at the time, The band set out with a mission. Its members simply wanted to bring back the raw basics to metal and give people a reason to mosh again. Clip wasn't trying to tantalize people with technical ability, nor were they trying to win anyone over with the typical, fake, "copy everyone else" style. Clip's roots are raw and their theory is simple. To provide Heavy, In your face music with a crunch to break your bones and a groove to keep you moving. After nearly two years of hardships and band member changes, Clip is finally ready to emerge onto the scene and show the world how metal is done. This 5 man band has at least a decade of experience in the metal scene. With each comes a unique style that mixes down to create something truly special. Backgrounds stem from down and dirty Death Metal to a very wide variety of the harder, more mainstream rock of today. What does this all mean to you? What it means is that Clip is crafted specifically for all you hardcore rock lovers out there. They know what you want to hear and they definitely know how to play it. I hope your world is ready!
