High Speed Grass

UK blue grass band High Speed Grass first came together in 1971 and spent the remainder of that decade playing their acoustic country rock throughout the U.K. and Europe as well as recording with Rab Noakes and touring with Billy Connolly and Ralph McTell. After an amicable split, Davie formed The Honky Tonk Ceilidh Band with Jim Hyndman, while Robin went on to play freelance, doing several TV shows with Bob Geldof and featuring on a Mick Jagger solo album. Robin also formed, along with Geraint Watkins, The Balham Alligators. Reformed in 2011, with the addition of Davie Strachan on stand-up-bass
