Leonore Mau

German photographer, born 1 August 1916 in Leipzig, Germany, died 22 September 2013 in Hamburg, Germany. From 1962 onwards she lived and worked with Hubert Fichte, with whom she conducted various ethnographic expeditions, exploring the Afro-American religions of South America, the Caribbean and Africa.
