María Fernanda Blázquez Gil (Mexico City, Mexico, July 21, 1973) known as Fey, is a Mexican pop and electronic music singer. After being a backing vocalist for a group and rejected by record labels in her country, she released her debut album Fey (1995). Since the release of this album, the singer acquired a vast fame in Latin America that was reflected in subsequent albums such as Tierna la noche (1996) and El color de sueños (1998). His career took a resounding change when he released his fourth album, Vertigo (2002). In 2009, he presented his album Dulce temptación with which he successfully re-entered the Mexican music charts despite the fact that its distribution fell to an independent record company. That same year he founded his own record company Elephant Music. She set a record in the National Auditorium of Mexico, filling it 11 times in 1997 (of which 10 were consecutive) and 4 in 1999, for which she received a mention in said auditorium for being the first sold-out female soloist, with an average of 10,000 people in each presentation for his Tender Tour at night. Fey has sold 25 million records, making her one of the biggest record sellers in her country. In 1998, Billboard magazine awarded her in the category of "best Latin artist". She participated as a jury on the Mexican program Bailando por un sueño (2014).
