Ulrika Gunnarsson

Swedish singer and folk musician from Småland. She is educated at the Academy of Music in Malmö, at the Høgskolen in Telemark, Institute for Folk Culture, at Rauland in Norway and the University of Limerick in Ireland. She sings, among other things, in the group Sågskära and was, until February 2012, host of the radio program Folke in P2. Ulrika Gunnarsson has released the album Trall (2009) together with Esbjörn Hazelius and Anders Löfberg and the album Timglas (2012) together with Jonas Åkerlund. Gunnarsson's specialty is trall - the vocal variant of fiddler's music. She has, among other things, sung at the concert hall in Vienna, at the Acropolis in Athens and toured in China and the USA. She has also appeared on radio and TV with concerts and in interview features.
