Maaike van der Linde

Dutch flutist Maaike van der Linde is a flautist who studied flute at Prins Claus conservatory in Groningen with Wieke Karsten and Thies Roorda. She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and had flute lessons with Philippa Davies. Other teachers are David Dolan and tuba player Oren Marshall. Maaike has played in Gambia with musicians from various West African tribes. During the study Maaike participated in the Dutch Impro Academy. Maaike played in the JongMBE and plays in the European chamber orchestra Stargaze (4).
