American actress (born November 15, 1909 in Yakima, Washington, USA – died December 29, 1994 in Bishop, California, USA) Grafton performed on Broadway between 1930 and 1936, including in the Rodgers and Hart circus musical "Jumbo" (233 performances). In 1934, Grafton recorded two songs for Victor, including "Two Cigarettes In The Dark", one of the songs from the musical comedy "Kill That Story," in which she was starring that year. In 1936, Grafton recorded two hits from the musical "Jumbo" for Victor with Paul Whiteman And His Orchestra, including one as a duet with co-star Donald Novis. In 1935, Grafton married orchestra leader Orville Knapp, but he died in a plane crash in July 1936. In the 1940s, Grafton played a number of smaller roles in Hollywood movies.
