Monika Hoffman

Sweden based Monika Hoffman's career is something out of the ordinary. She's had numerous televised performaces, including Hungarian Idol, Eurovision and a leading roll in the rock musical 56 Csepp Vér (56 Drops of Blood) which had been screened during the Cannes Film Festival. She is also the sole composer of Let's Run Away a critically acclaimed album featuring several Grammy Award-winning musicians such as Latin Jazz legend Paquito D'Rivera and Oscar Stagnaro. Monika Hoffman's newest upcoming release is called "Ten Muses" and will be released by the German record label Mochermusic. On the album, you get to experience a variety of different styles, ranging from big band to tracks that are more intimate featuring only the piano and her voice and a lot in between. Monika invites the listener into her world, walking together with the female figures that have been her inspirations through her life and musical career, such as the likes of Barbra Streisand, Shirley Bassey and Judy Garland.
