Dubquest

Dubquest is the artistic fusion of Domenico Savio and Luca Colella. The name Dubquest speaks for itself - it's the constant (re)search for those dub, deep and minimal and broken beat sounds. Hailing from Milan (Italy) their sound is the result of their passion for music (making and playing) which connects the two budding Dj/Producers in an endless musical journey. After meeting in London in 2015 the duo started playing in underground clubs across the capital and started producing together releasing their first EP "From the Dub" on Aura Dub's label Dub.Sphere of which the first track "Intro" was played by Richie Hawtin at Enter, Space Ibiza. The following months saw the pair collaborating with some of the finest European artists in the Minimal scene and releasing on labels such as eMBi, Tools & Stuff, Vandalism and Little Helpers amongst others not to mention playing in some of UK's best clubs like EGG, Fire, Ministry of Sound and The Rainbow Venues alongside artists like Alex Ground, Proudly People, Dudley Strangeways, Flashmob, Aney F., James Dexter, Dexter Kane, Reelow, East End Dubs, VID aka Egal 3 and Triptil. 2017 will be a pivotal year seeing their first vinyl releases and collaborations with major labels and artists. Dubquest latest project is with long time friend and producer Mario Meneghini and focused on Microhouse and the increasing use of analog machines - they together co-own and co-run the new vinyl only label Otaku Records.
