Born on April 6, 1997 in Anyang, South Korea. Kim Mingyu (Hangul: 김민규), otherwise known by his stage name Mingyu (Hangul: 민규) is a Korean rapper-songwriter under Pledis Entertainment, and a member of the South Korean boy group Seventeen (6). He is currently the lead rapper, vocalist and visual for the group, and a member of its hip-hop unit.
