Stuart Mindeman

Introduced to the piano at four years of age, Stuart Mindeman spent his formative years in Santiago, Chile, and Chicago, Illinois, and quickly realized that he wanted to pursue a life in music. An active pianist/keyboardist/composer, Stu keeps busy performing throughout the world, in a variety of musical settings, including Jazz, Latin Music, R&B, Gospel, among others. When he's not performing, he's behind the scenes, composing, arranging, recording, and producing for numerous world-class artists. Stu has had the honor of sharing the stage and studio with Kurt Elling, Kirk Whalum, Gloria Estefan, Antonio Sanchez, Dave Weckl, Mark Guiliana, Steve Smith, James Genus, Howard Levy, Kendrick Scott, Fareed Haque, Jojo Mayer, Juan Pastor's Chinchano, Marquis Hill, Matt Ulery, Gary Sinise, Christopher Cross, Ricky Luis Porrata and many others. He has also had the pleasure of musically directing for Chicago's The Second City comedy troupe. His latest album of original compositions, "In Your Waking Eyes: Poems by Langston Hughes", was released in 2014 to critical acclaim.
