Lena-Lisa Wüstendörfer

Swiss conductor and orchestra leader, born 1983 in Zürich. Wüstendörfer is leader of the Messias-Chor Zürich-Oerlikon, the Young Basle Orchestra (Instrumentalisten Des Jungen Orchesters Basel), the Berner Bach-Chor and the Berne University Orchestra. Further, Wüstendörfer is also active in musical science, especially in the early work of Gustav Mahler and has a degree in economical science additionally. She studied violin at Adelina Oprean and conducting at Raphael Immoos and became assistant to Claudio Abbado in 2007. She had also guest appearances in conducting at Orchestra Mozart and Jugendorchester Der Regio Basilensis.
