Piet Karregat

My name is Piet Karregat. Born in 1979 in Purmerend, then raised in Volendam. After 28 years moved to Amsterdam Southeast. I lived there for 11 years. As a bizarre coincidence, I decided to move to Enschede at the end of 2019. Due to the good sale of the house, I was able to fulfill some wishes. Including this LP. After traveling through Ireland with my parents, I was given a tin whistle as a memento. A while later, with barely the Vader Jacob repertoire in my pocket, I decided to apply for a job with a band. Actually hired, but almost immediately “fired” again, after which I founded the band The Irish Wolfhounds together with my later band colleague, Sjoerd van Ravenwzaaij During that time I learned to play various instruments and expanded the repertoire considerably.
