Erby's Fidgety Five

This ensemble accompanied Victoria Spivey on two sessions in New York in August, 1926 that resulted in "Humored and Petted Blues" and "Blue Valley Blues", released on Okeh 8389. Led by the pianist John Erby, the group may have also included Jimmy Wade (cornet), William Dover (trombone), Arnett Nelson (clarinet) and Edwin Jackson (drums).
