Gregory Marion

Gregory Marion is a Canadian music theorist and educator, head of Department of Music at the College of Arts & Science at University of Saskatchewan. He received a BMus degree from the University of Western Ontario, MMus from the University of Alberta, and a Ph.D. degree from The University Of Michigan. From 2001 until 2006, Marion had been working at the University of Iowa. As a researcher, he is particularly interested in the music of la belle époque, Claude Debussy, Duke Ellington, chamber works by Franz Schubert, and late Beethoven quartets.
