Luis formed Sci Fi Industries in 1997 after he had been mentor and lead guitarist of several alterative and goth rock acts in Almada, nearby Lisbon. In 2001 founded the Thisco label with Fernando Cerqueira (Rasal.Asad, Croniamantal, SPH) which become home for his own albums and over 80 Portuguese electronic projects plus dozens of international artists. Thisco released over 65 CDs till 2011 but has been much less prolific since Luis had moved to Memphis, Tennessee US.
