M.A.D. (Morbid Assassin Destruction) is a death & thrash metal band from Bad Dürrenberg, Germany. Founded in 1986 in the Democratic Republik Germany from Robert Eilenberger (bass), Jürgen Graf (guitar) and Christian Ludwig (drums). Completed by short term members Maik Schmidt (vocals) und Lutz Hommel (guitar). After they left the band, Chris, Jürgen and Rob (now on bass and vocals) recored their first demo in mid 1990 Of Live In Death. After numerous gigs, they broke up in 1991. After 25 years they reunite in 2015 with the original three piece line-up Chris, Rob and Jürgen. After a few gigs they released their demo EP Servants Of Torture. In the end of 2018 Ulf Weidner replaced Jürgen on the guitar, because Jürgen had to step down for health reasons. In 2020 they released their album "A Plague Caused The Deaths" with the new line-up.
