Louÿs Pitre

Author, singer, songwriter born in Beresford, New Brunswick, in 1948. Louÿs Pitre holds a degree in education from the Université de Moncton, in academic and professional information from the Université de Sherbrooke and in letters from the Université d'Aix-en- Provence in France. Committed to the advancement of literacy, he has had a career in teaching for more than 20 years. Now retired, Mr. Pitre travels to French schools in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Quebec as well as to a few English schools (immersion) in N.B. in order to pass on his passion for reading and writing to young people.
