David Mark Kerr

David Mark Kerr, born in Nashville, was a songwriter with songs recorded by George Strait and Sara Evans. He was a talented banjo player having won a Kentucky State Championship. He attended Belmont College and was an ambassador for the school as a member of the musical group The Reasons. He died on Aug. 26, 2011, in a Nashville hospital at the age of 49.
