Swedish composer, born in 1958 and grew up in Värmland but has lived and worked in Stockholm for several years. He is educated at the Academy of Music in Örebro and made his debut in 1982 with some mobile piano pieces at Riddarhuset in Stockholm. The composer and organist Karl-Erik Welin was Lars Jergen's mentor throughout the 1980s and Welin performed several of Olson's compositions.
