American vocalist, who sang with various orchestras mainly in the 1930s and 1940s, including those of Kenny Baker, Charles "Buddy" Rogers, Bob Crosby, and Jan Garber. She ended her singing career shortly after the end of World War II to dedicate more time to her family. She made a brief return in 1946 with Gene Krupa's orchestra, and in the 1950s she sang with Clyde McCoy’s orchestra, and recorded with her sister Martha Tilton on Coral Records as The Liltin' Tiltons.
