Calle Norlén

Swedish screenwriter and translator, born April 16, 1962 in Umeå. At Malmö Opera he has translated Kinky Boots, Billy Elliot, Top Hat and now Funny Girl. This autumn, he is also currently the main author of The Big Theater Gala at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm, Mamma Mia the party at Rondo in Gothenburg and Sissela Kyle's touring Etta on the list and as a translator of The Wedding Cake with Kajsa Ernst for Riksteatern. In 2009, Calle was awarded the Gold Mask for The Producers and he has also been awarded the Karl Gerhard Scholarship. He is also a columnist and one of the Spanarna in in Swedish Radio P1.
