Born in 1980, Vangelis Sygouris a.k.a. Angel, has been spinning records since he was 12. His first club appearance was in Thessaloniki at "Spacemobile" club during the summers of '94 and '95. From that time on, he performed a number of sets in various clubs all over Greece as well as in London (while studying sound engineering) at the legendary club, Home, owned by Paul Oakenfold, and at Velvet Room. His first residency came along in summer 2001, when he joined the ranks of resident DJ's at PLUS SODA in Paros Island - warming up for renowned artists such as Nick Warren, Alex Neri, Greece's own, Christo Z, G-Pal and many more. Winter (2001-2002) found Angel being the official resident DJ of Plus Soda Athens, performing sets alongside Sasha, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Sander Kleinenberg, Deep Dish, Steve Lawler, John Creamer and Anthony Pappa. His first production "Protest" came out in 2002 under Planetworks in the compilation Progressive...Visions Of Sound. Additionally, he has worked on remixing artists such as Christian Cambas, Viton & Stel, Phatjak and others.
