פסיכופט צעיר

Young Psychopath (Hebrew: פסיכופט צעיר) is the nickname of the journalist Rogel Alper, under which he released one album. The lyrics of the album are humorous and critically deal with television, consumer culture, boring married life, the bourgeoisie, and the emptiness of life in Central Israel. The sound is a combination of rock guitars with programmed rhythms, in a style similar to that of the band "The Foot And Mouth", which two of its members - Assaf Gavron and Ram Orion even participated in the recording. In 1996, after several years in which Gavron and Alpher preferred writing over creating music full-time (Gavron as a young and surprising writer, and Alpher as a sharp music and television critic), the two created Young Psychopath, a one-time project provider. Alpher wrote and composed all the songs on the album. The songs expressed, like the "The Foot And Mouth" band songs, protest, and bitter humor, in an intentionally infantile presentation, and in the wild and original Low-Fi production... The special and very refreshing album in its approach was released in 1997 under the production of "הפה תקשורות", and did not receive much attention. Alpher and Gavron didn't do much to promote it either (performances, interviews, etc.), and after it was released, they returned to their other pursuits.
