Born January 12, 1950. Greg X. Volz is likely best known as the former lead singer of Petra (9). He recorded only one album, 1982's Xavier, using his middle name as a pseudonym. It was a collection of romantic love songs written by Eric Schabacker(Schabacker also used a pseudonym on the project "Jonathan Fitzwilliam"). Schabacker owned the studio Petra cut their album Washes Whiter Than and asked Volz to be the vocalist for the album.
