Swedish artist from Härnösand, born in 1976. He won TV4's competition program "Sikta mot stjärnorna" in 1995, where he imitated Elvis Presley with the song "Blue Hawaii", as well as reaped chart success in Sweden. He also represented Sweden in the European final of the European Soundmix Show, on 13 April 1996 in Amsterdam, when he imitated Elvis Presley and performed "Love Me Tender". In Melodifestivalen 1996 he competed with "Du är alltid en del utav mej" written by Lasse Berghagen and Lasse Holm. Åberg did not make it to the final, but the song became a hit and stayed on the Svensktoppen for 36 weeks. Henrik Åberg then went on a summer tour with his own band. Conductor was ABBA bassist Rutger Gunnarsson. Of the tour show's fourteen songs, nine were so-called "Elvis songs". In the years 1996–1998, Åberg had a total of five songs on the Svensktoppen. In 2001, "En dans i morgonsolen", together with the dance band Martinez, was also on the list for 17 weeks.
