Peaux

Swedish percussion quartet. They are all classically trained but no longer musically bound. Instead of performing works by other composers, they now make their own "songs" that grow out of making music until they "sit". In addition to the usual percussion, the props include an oil drum from Texas, a gray plastic bucket and synthesizer. A couple of the musicians play in rock bands, one of them is part of Kroumata; their names are John Eriksson, Pelle Jacobsson, Christoffer Thorsell and Karl Thorsson. The record is produced by jazz journalist Johannes Cornell.
