Bob Ludwig (2)

American sound engineer/technician from the Los Angeles area. He is not to be confused with the famous NYC-based mastering engineer Bob Ludwig. He started in the 1970's as a touring sound mixer for groups such as Chicago (2), The Beach Boys, Frank Zappa, Seals & Crofts, Loggins And Messina and Al Jarreau. In that time, he worked mainly for Stan Miller (5)'s Stanal Sound. He worked for 3 years as house sound engineer for the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. In 1981, he co-founded Audio Techniques Inc. together with David Beecham (2), a touring sound company. In 1990, Bob became one of the original owners and president of Third Encore studios in Los Angeles.
