Daniel Sous

Rapper and singer based in Italy, also known as Dan Xikidi. Started off his career by releasing hip-hop singles under the names Sous and Daniel M.C. He has collaborated with many projects and producers without being credited in the 90's, mostly for SAIFAM where he provided the raps under various pseudonyms, notably T.H. Express, Housecream or DJ Space'C. He has also collaborated with Havana Records of Sergio Dall'Ora, Black Box, Paolo Andriolo for the compilations "The Muchens" (television cartoon) and many others. In 2000 he collaborated with Azzurra Records for the Catch the beat disc, later on in a Gospel Christmas disc. In 2004 he started a collaboration with Al-b.band. In 2005, he adopted the name Xikidi, later adapted to Dan Xikidi which became his registered trademark and released a new album called "U All My Need" in 2007, followed by another one "Back To Front" released in 2010. Two live DVDs were released in 2010 and 2011: A live Gospel DVD at the Teatro Salieri in Legnago, Verona + another DVD in the Studio at Musicinside in Modena. In 2012 he dropped the reggae album "Give Me A Little Love" and in 2014 the following album "Walking In Love". According to Daniel himself, he is greatly influenced by James Brown in his way of performing on stage.
