The Juggets Jazzband

In January 1979, eleven enthusiastic musicians started practicing Dixieland music in Tilburg. Because of the reputation of Tilburg as 'City of Kruikenzeikers' they called themselves The Juggets Jazzband. A nice side effect of the name 'Jug' is that in the early days of jazz, as a precursor to the wind bass, a jug (jug) was often blown to support the rhythm.
