Ylva Larsdotter

Swedish violinist, born on January 4, 1989. She studied for Ulf Wallin at Edsberg/Kungliga Music College and for Helge Slaatto at the Music College in Münster, Germany. Already at the age of 7, she had her first solo performance with the Sandviken Symphony Orchestra and has since been a soloist with a number of Swedish orchestras, including the Dalasinfonietta. Ylva works today as 2nd concertmaster in Västerås Sinfonietta. With the motivation "A brave and modern artist who, with her passionate expression, takes the audience on an exciting chamber musical journey", Ylva Larsdotter won second prize in Ljunggrenska tävlingen in 2015.
