Lamar "Thunderstix" Little is an American drummer based in Los Angeles, California. He's the son of a renowned jazz trumpeter, King Kolax (1912—1991). Little is associated with several notable bands, including Culprit, Otep, Obscene Gesture (from 2014 to 2016), and Agent Steel (since 2023). As a prolific session and touring drummer, he has shared the stage with Al Green, Clarence Carter, Bobby Womack, Robert Plant, The Pharcyde, Deftones, REO Speedwagon, Angelo Moore of Fishbone, Robby Krieger of The Doors, and Tora Tora (2), among others. Originally from Chicago, Lamar Little attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. After settling in Los Angeles, he has recorded for Interscope Records and at major studios, such as The Village Studios, Dave's Room, and Billy Graziadei's Firewater Studios. Other notable producers he collaborated with include Rich Mouser, Ulrich Wild (of Slipknot and Static-X fame), Ryan Greene, and Paul Fig. In 2014, Lamar joined Obscene Gesture crossover thrash/hardcore band, appearing on their second album and the final EP. He also performed with Media Solution nu-metal band and other ensembles, such as Power & Fear and Blue 88. Over the years, Little appeared on stage at most landmark venues in Los Angeles, including The Key Club, The Troubadour, The Viper Room, The Mint, and Whisky A Go Go. He also participated in various video, TV, and theatrical productions, such as Justin Bieber's Little Drummer Boy and Donell Jones' Love Like This music videos, a popular television show 12 Corazones on Telemundo, and the Wilshire Ebell Theatre's "Back on the Boards" play, featuring Lakisha Jones.
