Camille Stoll was born in Lausanne and studied the violin at the Geneva Superior Conservatory under Margarita Karafilova. In 1991, in parallel with her biology studies at the University of Lausanne, she obtained her teaching diploma from the conservatory, in the class of Christine Soerensen. She continued her training with A. Bauer-Loerkens at the Conservatory of Neuchâtel and was awarded an advanced diploma and virtuosity in 1996. She further refined her skills in private tuition with K. Turpie, G. Beal and L. Prunaru, and during a six-month period in 2000, by playing with the W. Hock Orchestra School in Gernsbach (Germany). A reserve violinist with the Orchestra de la Suisse Romande and the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, she also teaches at the Geneva Conservatory, where she leads a violin class and the children?s string ensemble. She contributes to numerous musical projects, notably the Eustache company, Zorg, The Young Gods, Epheire, Lee Maddeford, Daniel Perrin, Tamagochi, François Vé, Velma...
