Didier C. Deutsch

Record producer, born in Arcachon, France in 1937, he came to New York in 1962. Early in his career he worked in advertising and promotion, by the mid-1970's had worked his way up to Director of Press and Advertising for Jazz label CTI Records. He went on to do a similar job at RCA in the early 1980's which gave him access to their back catalogue which he first started re-issuing on vinyl and later CD. He was Grammy nominated for his Frank Sinatra box set re-issue, and went on to do many Broadway show re-issues and remasters, before turning his attention to the CTI back catalogue.
