Founded in 1975 by Peter Schubert (2), founder and director of the group. Members of the group include both amateur and professional performers. The chorus, in annual recitals in major halls in New York, have presented premiere performances of over 50 pieces in a wide variety of composing and performing styles during its fifteen-year career. The group released a critically acclaimed CD entitled "New Cantatas and Madrigals".
