Canadian singer born June 26, 1934 in the St-Georges parish of Montreal (Plateau Mt-Royal district). His father Walter Boyce is from the Caribbean and his mother is French-Canadian. When she was very young, she studied singing and piano with her father and later took singing lessons from Pauline Donalda. 1957-1960: Singer in a quartet at St-Gabriel de Brandon. Circa 1962: Discovered by Michel Louvain while he was singing in the provinces. 1960 to 1963: The transvestite Guilda hired her as the first singer, she participated in various revues. It was Guilda who found its name. 1964-65: co-host with Jean-Pierre Coallier of the controversial show “Jeux d’Hommes” on channel 10. On November 27, 1965 she married (Roland? Dollard?) Lajeunesse, a 35-year-old waiter and subsequently gave birth to a boy named Mario. Divorced in August 1966. December 1967; she leaves the showbusiness forever.
