Jose Toledano

Spanish flamenco dancer "bailaor" José Toledano Carnicer (b. Madrid, 1930 – d. Miami, 1987). He toured with flamenco dancers "bailaor" figures such as Pilar López, Carmen Amaya, Mariemma, Sol Hurok and Ana María. In 1962 he created his own ballet and made its debut at Carnegie Hall in New York. As of this date, he toured practically all the countries of Western Europe as well as Latin American and Islamic countries such as Morocco or Lebanon, where she obtained the favor of critics and the public. He danced on films like: Patio andaluz (1958), La Reina Mora (1955) or Cabaret (1953).
