Mark Calder

British classical trumpeter. Born in 1961 in Inverness, Scotland, UK. He studied at the Royal Scottish Academy Of Music And Drama. He has held both Principal and Co-principal positions within several orchestras and ensembles including the Royal Ballet Sinfonia, the European Union Youth Orchestra, The New London Orchestra, the World Orchestra for Peace, and the Bournemouth Sinfonietta. Later on, he held the position of 2nd Principal Trumpet with the Philharmonia Orchestra. 2nd Principal Trumpet with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Professor of Trumpet at the Royal College of Music, London.
